A campaign brand identity known as "The Whale Project" using graphic communication to create a solution to the current societal awareness of Climate Change. A project that focuses on 'Whales' as a marine creature, using information from WWF to compose the typographical content within the campaign design but developing my own branding and illustrated designs for this project; which included a small informative book, infographic and poster advertisements. The designs would be placed in Natural History museums and could be applied to other climate change issues or topics. This campaign design allowed the user to be more knowledgeable of how to help and take action to reduce climate change based on our awareness of this issue. With an informative purpose to give guidance and also allows the target audience to become more environmentally sustainable. This was in response to a practical based project drawn upon on my written dissertation I wrote based on research into design as a subject and the current climate emergency, the designed communication graphics campaigned to design a new awareness to encourage , educate consumers for the planets future. The dissertation came through an interest in how the last decade, the work of visual communicators has helped drive an increased awareness of the climate emergency, therefore choosing to focus on one aspect of the topic in a design solution.
